There were performed BASIC Engineering (BE) and Detail Engineering (DE) for equipment belonging to the steel plants:

• Taiyuan Iron & Steel Co. Ltd. (TISCO)
• Sidmar Arcelor Groep - Gent
• Csa Thyssen Krupp
• Gerdau Acominas
• Companhia Siderurgica Paulista

For most of the products static calculations of Finit Element Analysis (FEA) were performed. One of the important calculations for this project was thermomechanical analysis for RH-Vessel where thermal component has been added to mechanical calculation.

• Vessel Exchange Traverse
• Vessel Exchange Frame
• Snorkel Maintenance Car
• Snorkel Exchange Car
• Gascooler

Only DE was done for :

• Vacuum Test Plate
• Suction Duct
• Movable Elbow

The engineering process started with a very detailed 3D modeling of the equipment.

3D modeling, Basic and Detail Engineering have been performed for RH-Vessel, Hot Offtake and Gascooler, equipment belonging to a confidential steel plant.
The RH-Vessel has been subject for a static calculation (FEA) where the thermal component has been applied over the mechanical stresses.
